The annual WinterFest, organized by the LaPorte Park and Recreation Department, returns to many of the events we enjoyed last year, but with a few new twists to bring a lot of winter fun to the city. Fun for all ages is offered at the Zedernsee Summer Festival on Saturday, December 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Take road 94 and go straight ahead, the Snowmobile Trail will take you to Quincy - La Porte Road. Turn left onto Quincy Road and turn left onto LaPorte, where after a few miles you can finish your adventure in the delights of O'Reilly's Saloon & Cafe!

Walk the 1.5-mile path from Quincy Road to Rabbit Creek Road in LaPorte, Indiana, then hike back to O'Reilly's Saloon & Cafe.
